When planning for Corey and Cody’s shoot, I knew a Grace Church Downtown engagement shoot was the way to go.

There are so many Downtown Greenville SC photo locations, but Corey’s inspiration board called for white pillars. One of the few options in Greenville with just that vibe is Grace Church Downtown and around the Poinsett Hotel and M. Judson Booksellers.

Mini back story, unlike other couple’s photo shoots I’ve done, for Corey and Cody, I actually first met the groom-to-be before the bride! I was photographing Cody at a branding photo shoot for his work, and he casually asked if I did weddings.

Woah, how did he know?! (I was very much directing the branding shoot like a family group shot at a wedding, haha!)

Since then, I’ve been excited helping plan out Corey and Cody’s wedding coming up this year—my first wedding to photograph after my own.

This couple wanted timeless and documentary photos full of energy and color (notice her pink pumps?) for their engagement photos, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding day here soon in South Carolina.
