They say at the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy, that if you throw a coin into the fountain, the city will bring you back once more. I guess that’s what happened 5 years later after I studied art abroad in college! Except this time (September 2023), I walked around the city with a low-grade fever, a mask infused with all the peppermint oil you’ll ever need and a portable pink fan with a bear’s face on it (courtesy of a past bride—truly the gift that keeps on giving).

After almost 2 weeks in Europe, we ended our 3-city tour in Rome, where I ended up catching a bug. Thankfully, our AirBnB at least had AC (at least I think.. the one in Paris unfortunately and surprisingly did not, haha).

This set of Rome photography I’m sharing is from my recent adventures in Rome with my friend Kara, all taken with some slight wooziness, but I do love them still.

Looking at them, I feel that little sizzle that some good old-fashioned lighting and shadow brings me—yum. Do you feel it too? Hmm.. I think it’s there, or maybe it’s because I’m sick again while writing this, lol!

As I revisit my travels around Rome, Paris, and London in the form of photographs, I can’t help but be re-inspired for my 2025 travels and brides.

If you love still quiet moments like these, finding magic in the in-betweens, I think we’ll get along on your wedding day. Let’s chat!
